Light. Colour. Finish.

Interior painting, considered around your home.

Refreshing a living room, preparing an apartment or repainting your home starts with defining the rooms, surfaces and finish. The quotation sets out protection, wall preparation and painting, with the included work and exclusions in writing.

Services

Care starts before the first coat.

  1. Identification of walls, ceilings and existing finishes.

  2. Protection of floors, furniture and adjacent elements.

  3. Minor preparatory repairs within the agreed scope.

  4. Application of the specified system and a room-by-room review.

Planning work in an occupied home.

Tell us whether you will remain in the property and which rooms need to stay available. Phasing, moving furniture and ventilation are agreed before work starts. Doors, skirting boards and cupboards are included only when expressly identified in the quotation.

Preparation is part of the finish.

Fixing holes and small imperfections may be covered by the agreed preparation. Loose paint, recurring stains or changing cracks need assessment before the scope is finalised. Repainting should not be presented as a remedy for an unexplained moisture problem.

Choose colour in the light of your home.

Look at samples beside the floor, furniture and existing lighting. Matt appearance, sheen and ease of cleaning are separate criteria: the product should suit the surface and the way the room is used. Record the approved reference and finish in the quotation.

Careful preparation. Considered finishes.

How is interior painting priced?

The number of rooms helps plan a visit but does not replace surface measurements. Wall condition, ceilings, colour changes, protection and access affect the quote. Ask for a proposal that distinguishes preparation, painting and additional elements.

Your questions

Is floor area enough to calculate the painting cost?

It helps describe the property size but is not the area to be painted. Walls and ceilings need their own measurements, with an agreed approach to openings and exclusions.

Are ceilings and doors included?

Only if they appear in the quotation. Ceilings, doors, skirting boards and cupboards should be identified separately.

Can I stay in the property during painting?

That depends on available rooms, the products and the work sequence. Ventilation, access and reuse of rooms are agreed before work, following the product instructions.

Can you paint over a damp stain?

Recurring staining calls for its cause to be understood before painting is specified. Repainting does not replace correction of a leak or another building defect.

Before you decide

Prepare each room before painting.
