Assessment before choosing a thickness
Tell us which rooms feel uncomfortable, at what time of year and whether there are moisture marks. Comfort also depends on windows, the roof, ventilation and how the home is used. Photographs alone cannot support a promised percentage saving.
The existing surface must be assessed. Loose coatings, water entry and junctions may require preparatory work before the system is installed.
Details to include in the quotation
Ask for the named system, insulation material and thickness, fixings, reinforcement and finish. Base details, corners, window reveals, sills and roof junctions need an explicit scope.
Plan for rainwater pipes and equipment attached to the facade. A complete proposal also identifies access, protection and the limits of the work.
Preparing for the visit
You do not need an exact area or a self-selected insulation product to enquire. Give the number of storeys, property location and main objective. Measurements and the technical solution are confirmed on site.
